By downloading, installing or using the LectureLock Windows desktop application and its companion Chrome extension (“Software”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

LectureLock is a productivity and discipline tool designed specifically for students to prevent distractions during online lectures. The Software achieves this by managing open windows and intercepting specific keyboard inputs (such as Alt+Tab) during an active strict session. You agree to use the Software only for its intended personal, educational purposes.

You acknowledge that the Software requires elevated permissions to interact with the Windows operating system. This includes, but is not limited to, the ability to minimize other applications, force windows to remain topmost, and block specific system shortcuts. You grant the Software permission to execute these actions on your local machine while a session is active.

The Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly compatible with every third-party application or future Windows update. You use the Software at your own risk.

In no event shall the developer (Swastik Sahu) or LectureLock be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software. This includes, but is not limited to, unsaved work lost due to forced window minimization, or the inability to access certain applications during an active strict session.

The entire concept, design, architecture and source code of LectureLock are the exclusive intellectual property of Swastik Sahu. The Software is protected by international copyright laws. No individual, company or entity may copy, clone, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile or steal the core concepts or code of this software. All rights are strictly reserved.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Software following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
